Per Kotaku's Jason Schreier, Blizzard has cancelled a first-person StarCraft project, and has done so in order to focus on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.Īccording to Schreier's anonymous sources, the now-cancelled StarCraft project was codenamed Ares and would feature a playable Terran marine taking on a plethora of Zerg aliens. Fans of the company are always wondering what is going on behind the scenes, and according to a recent report, it appears that quite a bit is happening. One studio that won't be in attendance, of course, is Blizzard Entertainment, as they'll be holding their own BlizzCon later this year. Surely with E3 just around the corner, we'll be getting some new info soon.With E3 2019 just within reach, many gamers are preparing themselves to taking a whole lot of news regarding the gaming world. I think this little game called Diablo may just be a big hit. I am absolutely OBSESSED with this story and what all it will show. I can't wait to see all the Legendary items and crazy builds.

I haven't had that feeling in while…probably since Elden Ring. When I wasn't playing it, I really wanted to be. I'm not going to give it a rating or anything like that since it was only a small sample size. These are all just my thoughts and opinions on this game based off of a beta. I don't think that will be the case anymore.at least not with Diablo 4.

I say that because when you think Diablo, you think party. A very cool feeling for sure, and an interesting take. I would then go out and do some exploring, only to see us all teaming back up for a World Event.

Everyone at the main city to sell, gear up, craft, etc. Going to the hub areas around the map and seeing the other players there, kept that community aspect alive. I can see where having a party and rolling around the world would be fun I just don't think it's necessary for Diablo 4. I played the beta solo and it was a great experience. I know that sounds contradictory - but hear me out. The one thing that jumps out to me is that it feels like a very single player, multi-player game.
